This class was taught by the extremely talented Marika Rahtu and as you can tell from the title is is all about the beautiful details that will elevate your cardmaking! Hey crafty friends! I've got a card filled with happy rainbow colours today and lots of sparkle...black sparkle! For my card I used one of the new release stamp sets as well as a fun stencil from Maker Forte and both designed by Alex Syberia. It is a bit different than her usual gorgeous flowers, but it is filled with lots of fabulous big and bold sentiments.

using stencils, re-inkers and shaving foam. That's right...shaving
foam! Go and raid your bathroom for the can of your husbands shaving
foam! This is such a fun technique and yes, a little bit messy...but
it's not fun if you don't get a bit messy! Just an fyi...the lighting
was horrible when I took this, please don't hold that against me 😆
Hi crafty friends...I'm sharing a floral slimline card
with you today. I'm a sucker for a beautiful floral and this one doesn't disappoint! This is a gorgeous large floral made to fit a slimline card perfectly. When it comes to cards, I usually just stay in my comfort zone of the usual A2 size, I don't make alot of slimline cards. I have 2 mediocre excuses reasons why....#1, I find them harder to photograph and #2, they use up too much of my precious paper lol.. But I had no excuse not to make one when I received this set!
Hello and welcome back! Today I have my project to share with you for the Creative Watercolor Media class for my level 2 in the AECP. This class was taught by 3 amazing and very talented artists....Jennifer Rzasa, Laura Bassen and Debby Hughes. I am always in complete awe of Debby Hughes' work...she is an amazing watercolorist (is that a word?), so I decided to do one of the techniques she taught.....ink smooshing with masking using Altenew inks.
Hello crafty friends....today I am sharing 2 cards plus a video using this months subscription box from The Hedgehog Hollow. I used both of the stencils and did a bit of ink blending to bring them to life. I wanted them to have more of a classic look. Throw in a bit of heat embossing and they are quick and simple.
