Welcome to day 3 of the Altenew 10th Anniversary blog hop! I beyond honoured and thrilled to be part of this and help them celebrate 10 amazing years! There is so much incredible inspiration to be found along the hop and not just today...be sure to join in all the days! Have you seen all of the incredible prizes to be won....Wow is all I have to say!
For the hop today, I decided to go simple, if you will and a bit dramatic too! I embossed a piece of white cardstock using the Playful Blooms Embossing folder and loosely ink blended the flowers on the back debossed side of the embossed piece. Once the ink blending was done, I went over the entire piece using a black ink pad. I continued until the entire background was evenly covered in black ink. The black areas over the flowers are the areas of it that are raised up. The sentiment was hot foiled and diecut from the Sweet Sentiments Hot Foil Plate.
