I’m so excited to be joining WOW! Embossing Powder today to celebrate the release of their brand-new designer collection: Ethereal Meadows, created by the incredible Brennan Keane!

This 4-piece embossing powder release is inspired by the soft, "quiet awakening" of the natural world—capturing the hazy glow of a spring morning and the delicate textures of a meadow in bloom. Whether you’re a mixed media artist, a cardmaker, or just love a touch of ethereal shine, this collection is a total dream to work with. To be honest, the way these powders catch the light is something you really have to see in action!

Today, I’m sharing a project using Buttercup Blossom from the collection. I hope it inspires you to get creative with these magical new powders!

I used Buttercup Blossom first for my background by doing some ink smooshing through a stencil. I didn't do the entire stencil, as I wanted it to be (beautifully) imperfect. I then heat set that and did some stamping using black ink directly overtop the heat embossing. To further tie the embossing powder in, I used it for the center of my bloom. This is such a beautiful and perfect yellow and it has a gorgeous glow to it! This is most definitely a must have colour in your collection!
