Hi crafty friends... I am back with a very exciting post!  If you go back a few posts you will see that I had my final workshop to become an Altenew Certified Educator.  Well the good news is that I passed it and I am now officially a certified educator!  I am so very excited for all of the possibilities to come!  I've decided to host my first workshop and what better one to teach than the one that I used for my certification.

Well I did it.....I finally did my final Zoom Workshop for the AECP program! I am so happy to be able to finally post my final challenge and step on my AECP journey!

What a journey it's been!  This program has been such a wonderful and amazing experience.  I have learned so much and many new techniques along the way and throughout the 25 classes that I have had the immense pleasure to take to make it to this point.  I feel like my crafty toolbox and my knowledge and skills have grown more than I thought or imagined. 

Creative Coloring with Erum - Advanced Techniques - AECP

 

Today I am back for the next installment on my level 3 AECP courses.  For this class I did the Creative Coloring with Erum and oh my goodness...this class was amazing!  Erum is such an incredibly talented artist and her colouring skills are bar none!  I really really enjoyed taking this class and stepping up my skills with new techniques to add colour to images.

Demystifying Mixed Media - AECP

 

Welcome back crafty friends!  Today I have my project for the Demystifying Mixed Media class to share.  I find the whole world of mixed media is so mysterious and intriguing!  It makes you want to just dive right in...or at least for me it does.  So many amazing techniques and details you can use in and add to your work.  I really admire all of the incredible mixed media artists out there! 

Cards in Motion - AECP

 

Interactive cards are always so fun!  Who doesn't enjoy shaking a card filled with gorgeous sequins or a card that spins when you open it???  This next class in my level 3 AECP was Cards in Motion and it was all about interactive cards!  This class was taught by Ashley Tucker and she had so many fun and fabulous interactive cards....this class was definitely lots of fun!  She delved into the different types, from shaker cards to pop up cards and made them seem so easy and fool proof to make.  

Zentangle for Cardmakers - AECP

Welcome back crafty friends!  Today I have my project for the Zentangle for CardMakers class for my level 3 AECP. This class definitely didn't disappoint! It was taught by the incredibly talented Amber Rain-Davis and it was filled with so techniques anyone can do.  It was quit relaxing and a bit meditative too.  Some of the styles were a bit more advanced but they are all definitely beginner friendly in the world of Zentangle.  I was so inspired and had so much fun practicing, that I actually went and ordered a beginner Zentangle set to practice some more.

Elements of Floral Composition - AECP

 

Hey crafty friends!  So as you will have seen from my last post, I submitted my final challenge for my level 2 in the AECP program.  Well I am back today with my first project for level 3.  Yup....that means I passed level 2 and am now on my way to completing level 3!   So I am very proud to display my newest badge 😃  

AECP Level 2 Final Challenge

 

Hello crafty friends and welcome back!  I have a bit of a longer post(and quite a few photos too) to share with you all today and a very exciting one too! So sit back, relax and come along for the ride!  I have made my way through to the end of level 2 of the AECP program so I was met with the final challenge to move on to the next and final level.  I have really enjoyed this program so far and have learned so much from it!  I will definitely say that my card making skills have indeed improved with so many new skills and techniques! 

Masking Unleashed - AECP

Hi friends...welcome back!  Today I have my last class to share with you before my final project for my level 2 AECP and this class was all about masking.  This taught us all about the power of masking and how it can elevate your projects. She went over so many amazing techniques using different forms and ways to mask off parts of your project.  For my project today I decided to use 2 different ways. 

Magical Marker Techniques - AECP

 Hey crafty friends...welcome back!  Today I have my project for the second last class in level 2 for the AECP to share with you.  This has definitely taken me longer to get to this point than I had originally wanted to....some things came up, it got put on the back burner for a bit and TBH...I just got sidetracked at one point, but I am determined to finish it now!  

Color Your Day - AECP

 

It's all about colour!  Today I am sharing my card for the class Color Your Day in the level 2 AECP program.  This class was taught by the very lovely and talented Therese Calvird.  It was all about being inspired by colour all around and you never know where you may find inspiration and there were many more wonderful ideas shown in this class.  For my card today I decided to turn to the ever inspiring Pinterest and my colour mood inspiration board, where I found a colour combo that never disappoints and is always perfect!
