Ride the Waves - Visible Image

 

Hi friends!  I'm back today to share a card made using one of the new Summer releases from Visible Image.  I used the Ride the Waves Stamp Set and decided to make kind of a calming scene, using some of the images.  I thought that all it needed was just a simple background to showcase them.

Zentangle for Cardmakers - AECP

Welcome back crafty friends!  Today I have my project for the Zentangle for CardMakers class for my level 3 AECP. This class definitely didn't disappoint! It was taught by the incredibly talented Amber Rain-Davis and it was filled with so techniques anyone can do.  It was quit relaxing and a bit meditative too.  Some of the styles were a bit more advanced but they are all definitely beginner friendly in the world of Zentangle.  I was so inspired and had so much fun practicing, that I actually went and ordered a beginner Zentangle set to practice some more.

Masking Unleashed - AECP

Hi friends...welcome back!  Today I have my last class to share with you before my final project for my level 2 AECP and this class was all about masking.  This taught us all about the power of masking and how it can elevate your projects. She went over so many amazing techniques using different forms and ways to mask off parts of your project.  For my project today I decided to use 2 different ways. 

Polychromatic - AECP

Hello friends...today I have card to share with you for the Polychromatic class for my level 2 AECP certification.  This class was taught by the very talented Nina-Marie Trapani and is filled with so many tips, techniques and lots of beautiful inspiration for adding colour to your cards.  For my project I decided to focus on the lesson on watercolouring with similar colours or rather in my case....the same colour.

Happy friday crafty friends and welcome back! Today I have a soft floral card to share with you using the A Sprinkle of Flowers digi set from PolkaDotOrchard.  I love how soft and pretty this turned out and the effect of it on the printed paper is perfect too!

Easy Ink Blending - AECP Journey

Hello and happy Monday!  I hope you're all doing well.  Today I am back with a card from my 4th class on my AECP journey to become a certified instructor for this amazing company. 

This class, as the title suggests is all about easy ink blending.  The instructor Amy, teaches some wonderful techniques through the duration of the course and even if you are a veteran ink blender, you are sure to learn some great new tips and tricks and also get a bit of a refresher.
