September 2022 Winter Magic Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

We love celebrating the winter season, and this release includes everything you need to do just that! Let your holiday cards shine with trendy typography, classic poinsettias, or a modern tree. A timeless wreath of mistletoe (with coordinating embossing folder and stencils!), winter florals, and hot foil plates and dies to finish off the release. 'Tis the season!

Shrub Rose

This release is filled with so many fabulous products, but I think my favourite has to be the Shrub Rose Stamp and Die Set. Altenew always does florals amazingly and this one is no exception. It is such a pretty rose!

For my card I stamped out 2 of the roses using the Martian Terrain Ink Set for the layers. I also added some of the berry branches uncoloured, so as to let the roses be the main star. To set them off I added some very light ink blending in the lower corner. It`s incredible how adding the uncoloured berries behind adds so much to them. This is truly a beautiful floral, that it will definitely become a favourite!

Poinsettia & Berries

The Poinsettia and Berries is a beautiful layered poinsettia stamp set. I am a huge fan of traditional red and gold at Christmas, but I decided to go with a very light blue for the poinsettia. For the top more detailed layer, I wanted to add in that gold via with the use of some heat embossing. I love how big the flower is and I can definitely see this as part of my Christmas cards this year.

Tiny Sentiments: Wishing

The Tiny Sentiments:Wishing is a great and very versatile little stamp set that is perfect for so many different occasions! It does have a coordinating die too that makes them a perfect duo! I love how the strip under the word wishing allows you the perfect amount of space for the sentiment. For my card above I made a simple background using the Mega Bloom Stencil, some alcohol inks and shaving cream.....I love how this background turned, it is the perfect canvas to show off this fabulous wishing die and stamp combo!

Winter Crocus

How pretty and delicate is the new Winter Crocus stamp set?! I love seeing these flowers pop up late winter, because then that means that Spring is on its way! I lightly added my colour to the flowers with the use of the coordinating stencil and made it really easy too! To help to make the flowers pop off the paper, I did a soft pink ink blended strip behind them. I think the pink really sets them off!

Magic Burst Hot Foil

I thought that we would finish it off with my second favourite product from this release and a bit of drama too! The Magic Burst Hot Foil Plate is the perfect touch to help to add a bit of magic, whether that be as an extra little touch to your backgrounds or to help to highlight a sentiment or even a gorgeous floral....this will be exactly what you need! I decided to add a little bit of drama by foiling it in silver on a piece of black cardstock and as a burst to really highlight my flowers. I absolutely love how this turned out! I`m definitely going to try debossing this, as I am sure it will look just as amazing!
