Hey there crafty friends! Today is a great day as I am excited to be part of an always inspiring blog hop to celebrate the newest Endless Ambition release from Altenew. This exciting release is chock full of possibilities for every crafter. Hot foil plates with coordinating stencil sets are the focus, but there are also some beautiful die sets. Feathers, flowers, greenery and sentiments will find their way to your projects this month. Lastly Timeless Tulips (an exclusive retreat collection from July) will be available along with this release! This hop is being hosted by Altenew, so if you haven't started at the beginning you can head on over now or just keep hopping along with us. You should have made your way to me from Jaycee Gaspar. and your next stop will be Linda Westfall.
Timeless Tulips
If you are a fan of tulips like I am (they are my favourite!) then the Timeless Tulips Stamp Set and/or product bundle is a must! It features 2 beautiful arrangements and some perfect sentiments to go along with them. This product bundle also features a 3D embossing folder, colouring stencils which coordinate with the stamp set and are also complementary to the embossing folder and 2 dies that cut out the 2 tulip bouquets.
I decided to use red for the bouquet as this card kind of holds a special place for me. The colouring stencils make it so quick and easy to add colour in a matter of minutes. I normally wouldn't use red to colour in small images if I was using alcohol markers, as red is a colour you can't take back if you make a mistake lol, but with the stencils it is kind of a game changer. Just add your stencils and then layer on some gorgeous colour...easy as 1, 2, 3! To finish this I added one of the sentiments and some black splatters....I think I may be addicted to splatters lol
Floral Wreath
The new Floral Wreath Hot Foil Plate and Stencil are really just so pretty! You can use it with the stencil to add some colour to it or it is just as beautiful on its own letting the foil shine...literally. Either way this is such a beautiful pairing! I decided to use a blush pink foil and used a light pink cardstock as my base for this. I think the pink kind of softens it a bit. For the sentiment I used one of the new products from this release. Be sure to keep scrolling down to find out!
Flowery Bouquet
The Flowery Bouquet Hot Foil Plate and Stencil is another gorgeous duo! For my card I decided to use a piece of kraft cardstock as my backdrop for it and I love the rustic feel it gives it. As with the previous floral hot foil plate you could easily just add hot foil, a perfect sentiment and call it a day....it would be gorgeous as is. Or you could add some simple colour with the coordinating stencil. They really do make it easy to add the colour. I love the fun and whimsical look of this floral bouquet!
Okay now how fun is the Rainbow Burst Hot Foil Plate and Stencil??!!! The colour possibilities are truly endless with this! For my card I decided to use shades of grey and blue and paired it with some gold foil. I can see this just as a simple backdrop without any colour and it would be just as amazing! Or how about on a black background?!!! Oh my goodness.....so many things to try and so little time lol. For my sentiment I used the next new product from this release to share with you...keep scrolling down to see it!
The new Sweet Sentiments Hot Foil Plate and Die Set are 2 for 1 sentiments. Not only do they die cut the words and with a base shadow but you also have the option to hot foil them too! How fabulous is that! For my card I used the same Rainbow Burst hot foil as above, but this time I used it to emboss my cardstock for a really cool background and added a rainbow foiled sentiment. For the shadow on my sentiment I diecut the remaining foil that I used for the main sentiment and added that behind the word celebrate and offset it abit, so you could see the rainbow colours peeking out. I love how this turned out! Just a simple embossed background and the perfect sentiment to go with it. Can't get much simpler than that.
Layered Ornate Frame Die Set
The Layered Ornate Frame Die Set is just the prettiest! It cuts out all of the layered flowers as well as the ribbon like oval frame. I decided to use a colour palette of rose gold, ivory, blush pink and black. This is one of my favourite combinations for flowers to add that bit of drama. I added it to a backdrop of a dry embossing using a stencil and a simple Hello from the Sweet Sentiments Hot Foil and Die bundle. This floral frame adds a gorgeous centerpiece to your project. You could easily use the flowers on other projects as well.
