Hello and happy Friday...Friday the 13th to be exact! I hope you've all had a good week! Today I am sharing a card made using the In Love Rose digital stamp set from the November release from RachelVassDesign, In Love Rose. This is such a beautiful floral, it's perfect for wedding cards!
This card actually came together really quick and was super easy to do, with the help of some fabulous digital images. I wanted this card to have a bit of a romantic feel to it to match the name, so I layered 3 digital images to create this almost one layer card. That's the beauty of digital images, with digital images you can layer as many as you want and/or need and it will still only be 1 layer. So I started with my wooden background and then added a semi-transparent doily towards the bottom left hand corner. I like how you can still see the wooden panels through it a bit but not too much. Next I added a trio of roses over the doily but more towards the bottom corner and then added the sentiment over top that.
I then printed it out and added some soft tones of pink using my Copic markers. All that was left was to add it to my card base and then to finish it off with some clear sparkling sequins. I always like to add my sequins last so that I can smoothly adhere my panel to the card base, without the sequins being there. And I also don't have to worry about waiting until the adhesive under the sequins is dry before adding it to the card base either.
And that's it! A beautiful and simple card, perfect for any newly married couple! This new digital set is really very pretty and it's perfect for more than just wedding cards. I hope you have enjoyed my card for today. If you haven't already, be sure to head on over to Rachel's Instagram where there is lots of inspiration being shared daily from the rest of the design team and then hop on over to her Etsy shop and check out the entire new release and grab yourself one or 2 of her new sets! There is also a nice little freebie for you as well if you purchase any of the sets from the November release.
Thank you so very much for stopping by my little blog and until next time...which will be very soon I feel. Have a wonderful and crafty day, Michelle 😄

Hello! Beautiful work! Where is the doily image from? I've never used digital images before so wondering how do you cut them out. Thank you so much!
ReplyDeleteHello Elizabeth and thank you very much <3 The doily is actually a digital image I found on Etsy just browsing late one night lol. It's from a shop called designloversstudio. The great thing with digital images is that you don't need to cut out anything. You just layer the images on top of one another and it can appear as if they are cut out and layered. Digital images are so easy to use and so versatile as well. Please go and check them out and grab a set or 2 to try and play around with. If you see this reply in time, Rachel has a fabulous 40% off sale right now, so a great time to get some and try them out at a great price point. Any other questions please don't hesitate to ask. Have a great day!
