AECP Level 2 Final Challenge

 

Hello crafty friends and welcome back!  I have a bit of a longer post(and quite a few photos too) to share with you all today and a very exciting one too! So sit back, relax and come along for the ride!  I have made my way through to the end of level 2 of the AECP program so I was met with the final challenge to move on to the next and final level.  I have really enjoyed this program so far and have learned so much from it!  I will definitely say that my card making skills have indeed improved with so many new skills and techniques!

Masking Unleashed - AECP

Hi friends...welcome back!  Today I have my last class to share with you before my final project for my level 2 AECP and this class was all about masking.  This taught us all about the power of masking and how it can elevate your projects. She went over so many amazing techniques using different forms and ways to mask off parts of your project.  For my project today I decided to use 2 different ways. 

Ombré Watercoour Nativity Cards - Maker Forte

 

Hey crafty friends! Today i have 2 cards to share with you, using the Nativity Peace, Hope, Love Stamp Set from Maker Forte. I knew as soon as I saw this beautiful stamp set that the images/sentiments needed nothing more than a beautiful ombré watercolour wash as the background and nothing more...okay well a bit of heat embossing too. I have a video to share with you as well showing how these cards were made. Let's get started, shall we!

October Monthly Challenge - Waffle Flower Crafts

Hello crafty friends!  I'm super excited to be joining Waffle Flower Crafts and the always lovely Rachel as a guest designer this week!  They host monthly challenges and I am super excited to be co-hosting week 1 for the month of October!

This month is all about shaker cards and this week in particular is to have 2 or more shaker pockets on your project.  Shaker cards are so much fun to make and even more fun to shake...I absolutely loved this challenge! 

Magical Marker Techniques - AECP

 Hey crafty friends...welcome back!  Today I have my project for the second last class in level 2 for the AECP to share with you.  This has definitely taken me longer to get to this point than I had originally wanted to....some things came up, it got put on the back burner for a bit and TBH...I just got sidetracked at one point, but I am determined to finish it now!  

Color Your Day - AECP

 

It's all about colour!  Today I am sharing my card for the class Color Your Day in the level 2 AECP program.  This class was taught by the very lovely and talented Therese Calvird.  It was all about being inspired by colour all around and you never know where you may find inspiration and there were many more wonderful ideas shown in this class.  For my card today I decided to turn to the ever inspiring Pinterest and my colour mood inspiration board, where I found a colour combo that never disappoints and is always perfect! 

Heat Embossing with Kaleidoscope Powders - Maker Forte

Autumn You Know - Maker Forte and Pigment Powders

 

Hey crafty friends!  I'm back sharing a very colourful Autumn card.  I was inspired by the beautiful colours of the changing leaves back home in Canada in the Fall.  They truly are a gorgeous thing to see if you haven't ever....that's one of the things I miss about back home, so I thought that I would try to recreate them or try my very best to.  When I saw the new Falling for You stamp set designed by Jess Francisco, which is part of the Falling Into Fall New Release over at Maker Fort, I knew it would be perfect!

Hi friends...welcome back!  Where has the time gone since my last AECP project and class???  Time to get back at it!  This class was taught by the extremely talented Marika Rahtu and as you can tell from the title is is all about the beautiful details that will elevate your cardmaking!  As they say...it's all in the details and in this case it is all in the beautiful details.
