Let It Shine - AECP Journey

Hello crafty friends!  This is my 6th assignment on my AECP journey and this course is called Let It Shine!  This was right up my alley as it was all about adding shine and glitter to your cards, in several different ways and you all know I'm never one to shy away from adding a bit of shine and/or sparkle to my cards.  The class was taught by Clarissa Wiley and was very useful and informative, as are all the Altenew courses.  I had forgotten about some of the different mediums that I have tucked away and after this I most definitely plan on pulling them out and putting them to good use.  I have 2 cards to share with you today, so today's post maybe a bit longer than usual, so let's jump right in.

 

For the Guys - AECP Journey

Today I am back with a new card on my AECP journey and this time we are focusing on the guys!  We all know how hard it is to make cards for guys, bc let's face it...they just aren't as into all the flowers that you normally see.  But with that being said, there are still sooo many options when creating for the men.  During this course I learned lots of new ideas and techniques, some of which I'm most definitely going to give a try and I'm sure I will keep referring back to this course for future inspiration.  One of the classes was all about geometric shapes, so this is what I decided to concentrate on for this card.  Cubes are most definitely geometric and especially when they look 3-D!

Easy Ink Blending - AECP Journey

Hello and happy Monday!  I hope you're all doing well.  Today I am back with a card from my 4th class on my AECP journey to become a certified instructor for this amazing company. 

This class, as the title suggests is all about easy ink blending.  The instructor Amy, teaches some wonderful techniques through the duration of the course and even if you are a veteran ink blender, you are sure to learn some great new tips and tricks and also get a bit of a refresher.
